Victory Temple Christian Life Center joyfully invites you to a historic weekend of worship, honor, and thanksgiving as we celebrate 35 years of God’s faithfulness, favor, and forward movement. This milestone marks more than time — it marks testimony, triumph, and the unbroken promise of God over this house.

We begin our celebration with our Anniversary Preacher who is none other than Bishop John Richard Bryant, retired Senior Bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Church — the very prelate under whose Episcopal leadership Victory Temple was commissioned, blessed, and launched into ministry. His return to preach our 35th Anniversary is a moment of divine full circle honor.

Victory has a story — and this year, we celebrate the God who wrote it.

Bishop John Richard Bryant is one of the most distinguished and visionary leaders in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. A preacher of uncommon anointing, global reach, and prophetic insight, Bishop Bryant has spent decades shaping the landscape of Christian ministry through his pastoral leadership, episcopal service, and unwavering commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

His connection to Victory Temple is both historic and deeply cherished. It was under Bishop Bryant’s Episcopal leadership that Victory Temple Christian Life Center was commissioned, blessed, and released as a new work in the Kingdom of God. At the conclusion of the A.M.E. Church North Texas Annual Conference on Sunday, October 27, 1991, Bishop John announced, “We have a new work which is being started and we’re going to do something new. I’m appointing two persons as co-pastors: Bevery Freeman and Billy Wright”. His declaration and covering at our founding established the spiritual trajectory that continues to define our ministry today.

Now, 35 years later, Bishop Bryant returns to preach our Anniversary Celebration — a powerful full circle moment honoring the legacy, lineage, and spiritual foundation upon which Victory Temple stands.

Bishop Bryant is known for his pastoral heart and global ministry impact, his leadership as Senior Bishop of the AME Church, and his lifelong commitment to justice, evangelism, and Kingdom advancement.

We are honored to welcome Bishop John R. Bryant back to Victory Temple as our 35th Church Anniversary Preacher — a father of faith returning to celebrate the enduring promise of God over this house.
