Welcome to Victory Temple Christian Life Center

At Victory, we believe church should feel like home. No matter where you are on your faith journey, you are welcome here. Our desire is to create a place where people encounter God, grow in His Word, and experience authentic community—where we walk together in faith, support one another, and grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. We are a community committed to worship, prayer, and living out the love of Jesus every day.

Pastoral Welcome

Reverend Velma Coleman is a visionary pastor, teacher, and executive leader called to shepherd Victory Temple Christian Life Center into a renewed season of strength, clarity, and covenant identity. Appointed Senior Pastor in 2026, she brings more than three decades of ministry experience, combined with leadership development, governance insight, and pastoral care shaped by deep biblical conviction, professional career in human resources, and a lifelong commitment to developing healthy, Holy Spirited people.

A Dallas native and longtime resident, Pastor Coleman serves with a distinctive blend of spiritual authority, compassion, and organizational excellence. Her ministry is marked by a passion for biblical teaching, church governance, and restoring identity through the Word of God—work that reflects her dedication to building disciples who live out their faith with integrity and purpose. Her pastoral assignment at Victory Temple is the fulfillment of a prophetic word spoken over her life more than thirty years ago. It is not a role she pursued, but one God prepared her to walk into through seasons of service, formation, and faithful obedience. On May 30, 2026, that word came into full manifestation through her Pastoral Installation, affirming both God’s calling and the church’s witness to His faithfulness. She carries this mantle with humility, reverence, and unwavering commitment to shepherd God’s people according to His heart.

At Victory Temple Christian Life Center, Pastor Coleman leads with one clear mandate: to form disciples who multiply disciples. Her ministry is rooted in the Great Commission and expressed through teaching, spiritual formation, and Kingdom movement. She is a shepherd who believes in building believers who live sent—grounded in Scripture, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and committed to advancing God’s Kingdom.

As Victory Temple approaches its 35th Church Anniversary, Pastor Coleman’s appointment marks a significant moment in the life of the church—a continuation of God’s faithfulness and a manifestation of His purpose. She leads Victory Temple with steadiness, courage, and a commitment to building a church where people encounter God, grow in identity, and walk in Victory. Pastor Coleman continues to write, teach, coach, and lead with excellence, serving both her congregation and the wider community with an unwavering faith as Victory Temple endeavors to Do Ministry God’s Way.

To every visitor, Pastor Velma extends a simple invitation:

“Come grow. Come learn. Come be formed. Come be sent. Come follow God into the fullness of your identity in Him.

Victory Temple is a Prayer focused, disciple-making, Holy Spirit-led, Kingdom-advancing church—and you are welcome here.”

– Senior Pastor Velma Coleman
